Welcome to the home of the community port of Zimbra Collaboration Suite to Sun Solaris.

The state of the project is thus: We have released TEST8 build.  This build adds support for Sparc in addition to the current x86 build, and fixes most known outstanding issues.  The build seems to install, upgrade, configure and run pretty well, with numerous community members testing and running it.

The source code patches have been released, as well as binary installers for Sparc and x86, and the patching and build process is mostly documented.  The source build, as usual, is a fairly painful process and should only be undertaken if you have good experience building opensource code and are willing to get your hands dirty.  Most people will just want to download and install using the binary installers, which take minutes instead of days :)

Currently, the Solaris port is not yet in the mainstream Zimbra source.  This is the eventual aim of this project.
